A World of Darkness

Has anyone here played the new World of Darkness games by White Wolf? Such as Vampire: The Requiem, Werewolf: The Forsaken, Mage: The Awakening, or Promethean: The Created? If so, what are your thoughts on it and how it is (in my opinion) superior to the corresponding D&D concepts?
