BUG: wrong character movement rate

I just noticed that my character (Keen Smalldragon) has a diffrent movement rate: His mvement rate is set to 4 (normal) in the bic file, instead of 0 (PC). That means the character is slower than other PCs. It was difficult to notice (he is a kobold (slower because of size) and a barbarian), so I'm not sure where did bug hapenned. He is originaly from Rockhome, and has been in many planes, but lately only in Hala (both servers), Arkaz and Avlis (Wilds, LeOr, Mikona, Ferrell and Deglos).

I know of one other character that has the same bug: Fade (I don't remember the last name or the player's name).

Urgent: find what's causing it (and where) before it damages more characters.

Also... I would like to have him fixed, please.

EDIT: I did some research and I don't think it is possible for a script to alter the bic file that way. My suspect now are the portaling codes.

We have a number of people with this problem on Avlis. There is some evidence that portalling may not be the cause - or perhaps not the only cause.

If anyone has any thoughts on what might be causing this please, that would be very helpful.

My main on Arkaz had this problem. I had the habit of saving her bic each level so it was easy to go back and check. Her problem occurred before the possibility of portaling on Arkaz so at least in her change portaling was not the case. She did put on a belt of gender change somewhere in that period that was plot and cursed so it could not be removed. The belt also seemed to convert her to a static model as no matter what she put on in the way of clothing or a helm the model did not reflect wearing it visually.

The DM polymorph wand on Avlis appeared to be causing movement rate issues as well.

The post above mine seems to be related in that a model change occured.

So the common factor seems to be the polymorphing?

If so, why aren't all Changelings affected as well? Maybe they are. :?
