First, my apologies for that virus you got. Right now, I have no idea
how that got there, as both my computers claim to be virus free, and
there isn't even an email program running that is capable of sending
emails from this account (I am using a lot of webmail lately).

Nonetheless, I've deleted the account this virus allegedly came from,
just in case said account has been hacked.

The proper authorities are being informed right now. We apologize for
the inconvenience, and I hope no one got blasted by that virus.

bye,
JollyOrc

it's not from me.

Someone is spoofing my email. I've disabled the "may send email" privilige for this email adress, so whoever is doing it will have to find another identity.

Actually, I've seen some sites that allows one to send emails with any address one wants. Heck, I was able to send myself an email from "sox@whitehouse.gov" a few years back. I've seen current versions of these sites, and it's highly plausable that there's a version that would allow for an attatchment as well. As far as I know, there is saddly no defense against that kind of attack.
