Is the AD&D Manual of the Planes an accurate guide to planar workings and whatnot?

In other words, can the CoPaP implementation of planes be described within the rules set forth in the Manual of the Planes for plane creation?

Also, does anyone know of a website that details the same info, so I dont have to eBay the book?

3rd edition MotP is not the book I use to build out the Outlands nor will it be the book for Sigil. I find the 3rd Edition version to be lacking, I use the 2nd edition Planescape books and tomes.

I think most of the 2nd edition books are available on teh web in PDF format for like 5 bucks each or so too...

i bought spelljammer stuff for 4.95 per book
The Lord's Prayer is 66 words, the Gettysburg Address is 286 words, there are 1,322 words in the Declaration of Independence, but government regulations on the sale of cabbage total 26,911 words.

Whatever is implemented is up of course to the sole discretion of the World Leader. Some things are either too impractical or can't be done in a realistic way though.

Like my PnP group, I am salad barring Arborea. I am useing the 2nd edition of Planescape to be the foundation of Arborea, and using MotP as a Filler for 3rd ed rules. :)

Like Teleri said, I find the information in MotP very lacking in information. I think it is a great update to 3.0 rules, but it lacks the meat and potatoes needed to run an effective campainge in the planes. 8)

If someone comes to Arborea, once we are up and running, then they need to remember that not everything will go by what they read in a book.

the reason i started this thread is because:

I have a PC who I want to be an 'expert' in interplanar travel... I need a reference which will give me accurate RP material.

Sounds like the planescape book is my best best!
