At about 10pm, the overall system temperature began to climb. Increased cool airflow to the room didn't help, and the temperature continued the climb. The system is currently off.

I will be cleaning the intake fan grills of any dust accumulation, inspecting the power supply fan (as no signal from that fan was being reported), and even swapping out the powersupply for a new one we had bought for the build-up of a system intended to replace this one.
