I can access it fine, but that's no surprise, seeing as the server is several inches away from me.

To add to the specifics, Hades uses a different system. There will be no problems with your Avlis system XP if you come to Hades, but it won't affect our equipment at all, and vice versa.

In a technical sense, however, almost all of the CoPaP worlds have different crafting systems, so there's no really universal list of components. Pick some that work with your setting, and implement them in the crafting system of your choice. These items do NOT need to exist in the palettes of other...

The name of CoPaP 2 will most likely not be "CoPaP 2", or anything involving "CoPaP", due to legal technicalities. A number of CoPaP servers may also not be planning anything in NWN2. Therefore, if your organization has the same spirit as CoPaP, that's all that really counts.

So are NWN and NWN2 going to be able to intermix worlds? No, not really. NWN2 is more than a graphics upgrade to NWN. While the scripting language and some of the file formats will be compatible (or at least importable one-way into NWN2), they will be different games. NWN1 clients will not be able ...

SCORCO pchests and UArmorPart fields

http://www.nwnx.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=505

Alternatively, if anyone (e.g. Avlis) has come up with a fix to issues like this, or at least a reason for them occurring, I'd REALLY like to hear it.

I'm building the city of Sigil right now to (hopefully...if I can get a team together to script, DM, draw and host [/em end advertisement plug-in]) add to CoPaP in the future and I use few 32 x 32 zones (like 2 I think so far...) but many are like 8 tall and 32 wide, so they're thin. You think havi...

What I did was copy nwmain.exe to nwmain1.66.exe before I updated. All my Avlis shortcuts target the second file (which was not changed by the update), while my Hala and Hades shortcuts target the first (which was changed by the update). I have had no problems logging into either at a moments notic...

MySQL 4.1.16-nt, same DBWatcher package as Tairis (I think).
We have a direct MySQL connection, though, not ODBC.

As the sub who originally worked on this, I don't think it's a horrible idea. ;)

I'll wait for consensus (and maybe an impending hak release) before I update it, though.

Scheduled Tasks

What do other worlds have as scheduled tasks, and how are they implemented? Specifically, I'd like to clear expired DB records, but things like 90-day player archival, vault backups, etc. would be good to know.

I have a 9600Pro, and had no problems leaving an Elysia building last night. I'm using Catalyst 5.6 (the latest is 5.11), because 5.7 hung my system within seconds of starting NWN. Try switching back to those and see if it helps.

I believe it's the publisher's decision to create ports of the game. NWN's publisher is Atari. NWN2's publisher is Atari. We'll see what happens down the road.
