Best fix for the whole issue: remove the 'take 20' from kits. That way, they are alot less sure fire than they are now. I remember when potions used to always heal the maximum amount of HP's. Allmost no one used kits back then, as potions gave a good price/healing capacity value back then. Each cure...

It had been stated somewhere by Orleron that adjusting all spawns would necessite changing 7000+ spawns on the wilderness server alone, and thus would not happen.
(please correct me if I grosly misquoted)

Thus, a need for serious healing will allways be present.

Amonien has learned 4 greater restorations and five masssheals. Anything lesser is simply inefficient in combat. Either foes she faces with her group are so minor one can bandage up after the fight, or people are in need of instant and quick replacement of 400+ HP's, as they are loosing 300+ a round...

Idea, hopefully that's not hardcoded. Remove the automatic 'take 20' out of combat. This makes heal kits mch less relieable to heal set amounts of HP without a moderate investment into heal skill. Currently, with a heal skill of 1, you can allways exspect 22 HP's healed out of combat with a +1 kit. ...

Main problem with upping the DC's on poisons and diseases: The DC's used by a heal kit to remove the effects are the same DC's as the fortitute save used to resist them. Taris uses a modification to give standard bioware forests canopies. Great visual efefct... but hard to navigate at times due to canopy hiding things at zoomed-out viewpoint.

The main problem I see we try to prevent extreme goldfarming. This unfortunately alse hampers average players with average chars, who are not build towards maximal survivability. One counterargument: Cost of healing supplies, potions and housing. Would also basically put a stop to trading lower level items against gold, reducing trade to those who have something to trade for.

Hell, I haven#t been able to see the Abyss404 server since several days on the server list, can't connect to it, and the forums seem to have vanished as well.

Can anyone tell me what is up?
