that shouldn't hurt you Enverex: which is called from the module OnEnter event. this means that you need to put the disabling lines either directly into the module OnEnter event, or put them all into a script and then call that from the Module OnEnter event. this is how the script would look complet...

This is important for builders. The order referred to here applies to the Aurora Toolset, not the files in the folder on your hard disk.

As a player who isn't building anything for CoPaP, you can ignore this thread.

Wanted: Subcontractor for Quest Building

The task would be to create a series of small quests stretched over up to 4 connected areas. These quests all have a common theme. The Subcontractor would have relative freedom in coming up with quest ideas, as a lot is possible, ranging from stealing, intrigue, begging, helping people, doing fedex ...

I agree that I'm the wrong one to answer the question of which D&D flavour will get implemented. The only D&D book I own is the 3.0 Player Handbook, and I didn't even read that . What I can say: There will be systems that will prevent mages and/or clerics from casting certain spells when not...

The catch is time . What if you do not have much time to spend on your nwn hobby, and you find yourself in a situation where you cannot do that thing you've dreamed of doing (Yeah I know I'm getting a bit exaggerative :D ) this may sound harsh, and it's not entirely meant that way, but.. ...this is...

Actually, there IS a rule. I can't find a link with it right now, but roughly, it's this: A CoPaP World cannot simply trap someone. This rule was made to prevent a malevolent world owner to simply make the portal to his world one way or simply putting an uber-unbeatable NPC in front of the portal to...

First, my apologies for that virus you got. relatively simple solution: The tag would be a certain variable. Let's call it sOriginalServer. Let's just create an additional field for the table that stores the pchest stuff. For every entry in the pchest, you also store those variables we need copap-wide on the items. This would be comparatively...

a 4 MB database dump with ~50 NPC bics (including chests) in it compresses down to 205kb with rar.

The 18 GB backup would thus size down to less than 1 GB. :D

For Catara, we've developed a chest system that treats each chest as an NPC and then stores the NPC as one object into the db. (in .bic format to be precise. Very neat.) And variables on the items, non-palette items, bags with stuff in them, the order of the items in the inventory , all this seems t...

because it benefits a lot of people. And even Star (who's main is one of the likely candidates for "not so much benefit") liked the idea.

It was meant to be voluntarily from the very start of the discussion.

The "not-voluntarily" part came from the implication that DMs might loot the non-tagged stuff more agressively. But they won't, at least not more so than they do now, so the issue is moot.
