I've always admired the Norse pantheon (from the atheistic perspective that it's all codswallop, mind). For a set of Gods, they were always very, very *human* in their actions and mistakes. However, my favourite D&D pantheon is the FR pantheon. Probably because it's the most familiar, I suppose....

Wonderful stuff, . This is one of my favourite comics, more for the humour than the actual drawings.

The guy who does the Order of the Stick just did an 8-Bit Theater fan-filler as well, so if you like that as well, check it out.

RP concept, but mostly humans, it has to be said. As an example, I decided to play a very 'experienced' individual, with a long life story, and views that reflect that. So I plumped for a rather good-natured 300-odd year old Dwarf.
