User Registrations Fully Re-opened (And spambot info)

For the last few years, new user registrations on this website have been required to go through admin activation. With the latest updates to phpBB, we are now able to use reCaptcha V2 ("I am not a robot"). Sadly, it does not yet support V3, so some spammers still get through. To counter th...

Forum Updated to phpBB 3.2.8 and PHP 7.2

Dreamhost is removing PHP 5.6 from all of their servers, yesterday... Meaning I got an e-mail saying it would be gradually done to all servers through November and it is now December and my sites aren't forced to upgrade just yet. Things you should know: The site will not have a "front page&quo...

Website: Upcoming Maintenance

I received an e-mail from the hosting company that warns of potential slow loads for websites being migrated from the current hardware to new hardware. The migration should be relatively seamless but websites that are heavily database driven (such as phpBB forums) will experience slow downs during t...

CoPaP.org is not owned by nor maintained by the same people that own and maintain Avlis.org. The now defunct Contact page here is not the appropriate place to get a hold of Avlis staff. If you're concerned about a malware warning and don't want to try to contact Avlis staff at their website, you may...

You can only set it to one or another, unless as suggested you have multiple servers and set each one to something different.

That said, why does this even matter anymore with Gamespy gone? Am I missing something?

Recent Website Problems !! Important !!

Last night I spent around nine hours cleaning malicious code out of every last PHP file in my entire account. This included this website as well as tairisnadur.com, ysgard.org and even some scripts for server status that are not web accessible. The nature of this code was to hijack traffic on our si...

The phpBB3 upgrade is more or less complete and tested as being fully functional. It is not live yet, as I'm working on see if I can get the front page compatible. That's taking a while due to RL being a major pain for the past couple weeks.

CoPaP.org Returns!

On October 14th the original registration for the copap.org domain ran out. I contacted Silk and we proceeded with attempts to transfer the domain to my registrar, but the attempts repeatedly failed. The final attempt was made roughly a week ago. There were no failure messages, and I was told it cou...

CoPaP TLK 4.9 has never been officially published CoPaP-wide.

Last I ever knew Avlis was running it for testing. We were never told that it was ready for use. Therefor, the 4.8 version is being listed here, and used on CoPaP servers still.

CoPaP Vaultster Updates

I have created a couple packages for the recent Vaultster updates that I tailored specifically for CoPaP. The include scripts between Windows and Linux Vaultster versions are nearly the same. The only reason each system has it's own include file is a slight delay added to the Linux include due to ho...

CoPaP Passes Vote to Remove Player Passwords

As the title states, CoPaP recently and unanimously passed a vote to remove the player passwords from our servers. It may take a couple days for individual member worlds to update their servers to remove the player passwords, so please be patient. Keep on eye out on their forums if you're waiting. :D

I've already put my stamp on Linux Vaultster and sent it back to PJ for release.

There is some preparation to do before CoPaP can update to the new versions (there was a bug fix to CoPaP's version of Windows Vaultster during all this testing as well).

We have some issues to resolve before round 2. I'll let you all know when that is.

Please don't portal with the horses. They're on North Road Test so I can get around faster while I build it, and are not meant for actual testing.

This testing requires multiple players to be on at once. We've tested the heck out of a single player being on, and it works fine. Multiple people poking the portal at once is a good test. Multiple people saving/resting at various intervals when someone tries to portal is another good one. And to ve...

If not, is there a way to harmonize them? Thanks! CoPaP has discussed, and rejected, CEP 2.x as a whole integration several t...
