I believe the team size should be proportional to the size of the player base at the point, where the PW has established itself. Before that point, the optimum is to start with a team that covers all crucial positions (coder, DM, area designer, coordinator) and have a recruitment rate that can cover...

Example for Blackguard (to disable - Set it to zero to enable)
//Blackguard
if (GetLevelByClass(CLASS_TYPE_BLACKGUARD, oPC) < 1)
SetLocalInt( oPC ,"X1_AllowBlkGrd", 1);
The names of the variables (ScriptVar label) can be found in the respective class_pres_* .2da

If this doesnt cause an invalid character, then definitely there is something wrong with the character validation. What do you use for it?

Deleting the custom scripts is required because they are outdated versions of the spells (before HotU or SoU) and they do not include the "hooking" command.
Which means that the system will use those spell versions, instead of the hooked ones.

I have said it before and I must bring it up again here I think. Do not judge the xp system from a PGer angle or from people that spend 10 hours per day, every day on the servers. This is NOT the average. Players can advance fast IF they have sufficient game-time to do so. Even if the xp is reduced,...

My suggestion would be to adhere to the PnP-rules for xp: everything more than 8 CR away from your level was either too easy to really learn from (giving no xp) or too challenging so it must have been a bug or engine/AI-limitations-exploit to have been able to kill him (giving no xp). Saves both th...

I tend to agree with Nob. The CR of the monsters is not the main issue. The real problem derives from areas that have a LOT of spawns and with a high frequency (if the areas are vast, even 1 hour rate is high). And there ARE many such places. Lets take a general example... some caves with spiders. I...

Useful Generic Scripts

Here we can post generic scripts that are commonly used among servers. I'll start with the most popular one :) : 1. Jump PC to a waypoint (Placeable OnUsed) //:://///////////////////////////////////////////// //:: Name jump_pc_2wp //:: FileName jump_pc_2wp.nss //:: Copyright (c) 2001 Bioware Corp. /...

If it is the Avlis system you use, you will find a pretty detailed guide-doc in the same compressed file or here.
As far as I can tell from your description, you have not applied the appropriate innkeeper's "event" scripts.

According to the comments I read in that link you posted Nightfall, they dont seem to behave like Kamas. The link Arkon provided seems more up to date. The changeling ability fix was succesfully implemented to Avlis. I post the procedure here too for all copap members to be able to view it. Step 1: Modify Client OnEnter script to execute the appropriate script (I call it "avlis_addfeat_sp") ExecuteScript("avlis_addfeat_sp",OBJEC...
