For the first one, is the right set of 2da files being pointed to in watcher.properties? (i.e. whatever they would be in the order of hakpacks?) Also, what ECL do wemics start at? The error means that it couldn't find which ability score was raised for that ability score boost every 4 levels. If the...

Another way might be to script up a chest or container of somekind in a dummy copy of the module and put an instance of each item you have in the palette in that container. Then run a script that automatically goes through and updates the database with the information for each of the items in that c...

Re: PRC: Stratovarius, Bleeding Edge and the rest of the gan

We have already been debating this on the Abyss404 forums, but I would like to see what everyone in COPAP thinks. Just to clarify, Abyss 404 does not currently endorse or recommend the PrC Consortium pack at present, and this has been stated quite clearly, and quite simply on the Abyss 404 forums.

Updates

(This was from a few days ago) Abyss 404 * PCs now gain a small amount of "exploration" XP for each new area they discover that is within or above their level range. * Weapon/Armor enhancement spells now just have a small chance of temporarily cursing the item rather than a small chance of...

For it to work, both worlds would need this custom non-Bioware spell in their .2da files and hakpacks. It does appear to be a part of CoPaPHak 3.1. Rockhome should make sure the ECL checker is pointing to the appropriate CoPaP version of the spells.2da which has the Blur spell in it (line 1500). Mos...

Abyss 404 Going Live April 1st, 9PM GMT (4PM EST)

Abyss 404 is going live on April 1st (yes, April Fools Day!) at around 9PM GMT (4PM EST). The live server location will be at: abyss404.d2g.com:5121.

For simplicity sake, it won't be linking with other worlds until after the upcoming hakpack upgrade across CoPaP.

Don't these changes have to happen to ALL of the Copap worlds or else something weird happens? Forgive my ignorance in developmental areas. The behavior of spells, feats, and prestige classes would vary based on server. The best place to look would probably be the web site of each world to see what differences there are. Some changes might not even be openly revealed, and are left as something that PCs might discover in character.

With the cursed plot undroppable items in HotU, you can't drop them as far as I know. You can't sell/trade them or put them in an inventory bag or in a placeable container. There's no getting rid of them except for scripted means. So one of those small miscellaneous items would probably do. No need ...
