It will need some client side configuration regardless. Unless of course we want the passwords in the online ini. The location of the game install will be one of the things that has to be client side. What I have mapped out so far for ini layout will allow for multiple download mirrors, and we can i...

Copap launcher
I am moving this weekend, and odds are good I am going to be without internet for a week or so (someone else just got told that it will take 13 days to get theirs hooked up) :-( On the plus side this will give me a chance to work on something Themi has been pushing for a while. Themi has been wantin...

Test with stacks. Test thoroughly with stacks. Done. And done. Unless there's a problem with Set/GetPersistentObject and stacks that I'm unaware of. Not sure which ones you are aware of, but there are many many issues with stacks. I am not going to post details here as it is public and some are pot...

- Direct connection, not ODBC - I am using the latest watcher, this is the one that allows wings to be added and is currently running on avlis, pretty sure noone else has a copy of this one yet. - mysql connector version 3.0.16 (sheesh, seems i am out of date there) - mysql server 4.1 - windows 2000...

The problem appears to be that your connection to mysql fails, and as the watcher is constantly checking the database for new jobs it throws that error pretty much as soon as the link fails. What version of mysql are you running, and what version of the java mysql connector are you running? You have...

This is done via a custom ai script. So it will not be rolled into spellhooking, and I would doubt it gets put into the CoPaP haks. afaik it is not yet in a release state, kinarr is using Ferrell as a live testbed for these scripts as he is the module coordinator for that server so he finds it fairl...

OK, this seems to have run its course now, and nothing new really seems to be coming up. Overall I would say there is support for the idea. Other points that have been raised. 1) DMs looting if not tagged. Already happens, nothing new, is not an issue, no need to discuss. 2) Make it available to all...

a spare set of gear in case of loosing primary gear in a crash (not as good gear, but reasonably good gear) And that is where amonien (i assume its her you are talking about) can save weight. If your primary gear is marked as plot and no drop, then there is no risk of losing it to a crash or otherw...

Proposal to remove uber/banned gear from the economy
One issue facing CoPaP is the amount of items in existance that is on the uber/banned list. This has come up as an issue almost every time a new low magic world wants to join, or whenever someone raises the issue of low magic. The main problem I see with this gear is not that it exists, but that it ...

Yay for good contracts and flexible hours. I just have to work a certain numebr of hours a week, when i do them is up to me. Every single week I look at what I have to, or want to, do outside of work and work hours that fit into that. Do I need to take my car into the mechanic? Do I need to go shopp...

I haven't looked at it, but are the healing kit scripts editable? If so, then why not just remove the D20 from the DC check of the poisens and disease, leave healing itself as is. Those wanting to use the kits to get rid of poisen/disease would actually have to put in points to heal then. Most DCs a...
