 Last night I spent around nine hours cleaning malicious code out of every last PHP file in my entire account. This included this website as well as tairisnadur.com, ysgard.org and even some scripts for server status that are not web accessible. The nature of this code was to hijack traffic on our site and redirect it to one of several unsavory site...

November 9, 2011 we will roll out some new haks with new content. You will need to download these new haks and place them in the proper location to play after the aformentioned date.

On October 14th the original registration for the copap.org domain ran out. I contacted Silk and we proceeded with attempts to transfer the domain to my registrar, but the attempts repeatedly failed.
The final attempt was made roughly a week ago. There were no failure messages, and I was told it could take 7 to 10 days to go through.

To better optimize the Arkaz modules we are introducing more HAKs. The good news is that they are tiny and take less than 1 minute to download all of them. These are placeholders for server-side haks.

 These forums as well as the basic Catara website will go offline within december. The reason, sadly, is the new legislature going in effect next year in germany aimed at protecting the youth. | Announcement: CoPaP Passes Vote to Remove Player Passwords |

As the title states, CoPaP recently and unanimously passed a vote to remove the player passwords from our servers. It may take a couple days for individual member worlds to update their servers to remove the player passwords, so please be patient. Keep on eye out on their forums if you're waiting.

That doesn't sound like it would be a major thing, but for Catara it is: We've had our last spellhooking stuff done in what, 2005? There's been a few expansions and a ton of CoPaP changes there. And, alas, Catara and the rest of CoPaP diverged a bit in terms of what is stored in what include file and such.
