| Announcement: CoPaP Passes Vote to Remove Player Passwords |

 As the title states, CoPaP recently and unanimously passed a vote to remove the player passwords from our servers. It may take a couple days for individual member worlds to update their servers to remove the player passwords, so please be patient. Keep on eye out on their forums if you're waiting.

 That doesn't sound like it would be a major thing, but for Catara it is: We've had our last spellhooking stuff done in what, 2005? There's been a few expansions and a ton of CoPaP changes there. And, alas, Catara and the rest of CoPaP diverged a bit in terms of what is stored in what include file and such.

Over the holidays, I decided on a lark to boot up the old Catara module. Turns out it was still working, and that there were actually people interested in it.
So, the server is back, and rejoined CoPaP. The haks are up to 1.69, the server is CoPaP-compliant hak-wise, thanks to Horreds great work.

 In case some didn't know, Avlis is going to have some minor downtime come Saturday morning for some really awesome upgrades.

 Arkaz is going 1.69
That's right folks, it's finally here!
Arkaz will be updating to Neverwinter NIghts v1.69. The update will take place on Oct 10, 1 - 4AM GMT (9 Oct, 9 PM - Midnight EST).

Today August 2, 2008 the Arkaz servers will be going off line until about 19:00 GMT. The servers will be changing physical location. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

| Announcement: Update to Caster Code |

This update replaces the current code which limits off world clerics to low level spells only. While the access restrictions are based on normal PnP DnD rules
There has been a change that will be live soon that applies only for PCs with a non-Arkaz deity or with a deity that doesn't support the class that the spell is being cast from:

 Due to some issues with the domain company ysgard.org is currently out of service.
